Hinjew

I wrote this piece for an Intro to Creative Writing course that I took at the University of Winnipeg. It explores my experience growing up mixed-race in an interfaith household and how it has impacted my life so far. It deals with heavy and potentially hard-to-read content as I discuss antisemitism and racism, and there's a brief moment where I mention sexual assault. To this day, it's one of my favourite pieces I've ever written, and it felt liberating.
