Quest Theatre Co. - Summer Camp Assistat Coordinator
June 2021-August 2021
This job allowed me to work closely with kids from the ages of six to fifteen. I helped keep the space clean and safe for the kids to create, and assisted the instructors in carrying out the shows at the end of the week. This camp allowed me to write stageplays, and help inspire the younger generation to create and have fun with the process.
USNA Publishing - Sales and Promotion
April 2016-April 2019
At various comic expos all over Canada, I helped run the USNA publishing booth, where we sold graphic novels written by BC-based writers. We've been successful in creating a cult following, and fans are eagerly awaiting the tv series adaptation, which is currently being pitched to production companies.
Across the Board Game Cafe - Host & Server
September 2023-May 2024
While this job does not allow me to write, I work in a teamwork-heavy environment. I look after the reservations, seat guests at their tables. and bus tables when needed. As a server, I take the guest's drink and food orders and ensure their time at the cafe is an enjoyable experience worth repeating. During every shift I communicate with the team when necessary, ensuring a smooth flow on the floor.
